The tart pomegranate flavors nicely contrast the mango base in this elegant sorbet.
2 mangos, peeled, pitted, and chopped
1 cup water
3/4 cup sugar
juice of 1 lime
1 cup < a href = "http://dangerouswhenhungry.com/2015/02/pomegranate-syrup/"> pomegranate syrup
1.Blend the mangos, water, sugar, and lime juice in a blender until completely smooth.
2. Cover and chill overnight.
3. Churn the mango mix in an ice cream maker according to its instructions until it achieves soft sorbet texture.
4. Layer the mango sorbet with the pomegranate syrup, cover, and freeze until firm.
5. Serve with pomegranate seeds if desired.by
